Terms

Effective date: October 19, 2026

Welcome to Anchor Storage. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of www.weatherford-storage.com (the "Website"), our online rental, reservation, and payment tools, and the communications we send you. Anchor Storage ("we," "us," or "our") operates the boat, RV, and self storage facility at 6704 Mineral Wells Hwy, Weatherford, TX 76088.

By using the Website, creating an account, reserving or renting storage online, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Your Rental Agreement Controls

These Terms cover your use of the Website. Your storage rental itself is governed by the written rental agreement (also called a lease or occupancy agreement) you sign when you rent a unit or parking space. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your rental agreement, the rental agreement controls.

The summaries of rental policies on this page are provided for convenience only. Please read your rental agreement carefully before signing it.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to rent storage or create an account. By using our online rental tools, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

Online Rentals, Reservations, and Pricing

  • Unit and space availability shown on the Website is updated regularly but is not guaranteed until your rental is confirmed.
  • Prices, promotions, and fees shown on the Website are subject to change without notice. The rate in your signed rental agreement is the rate that applies to you.
  • Unit and space dimensions are approximate. Please confirm that your boat, RV, trailer, or vehicle will fit, including length with tongue, height, and slide outs, before you move in.
  • Photos and descriptions are representative and may not show the exact unit or space you rent.
  • We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any reservation or rental, including in the case of pricing errors.

Accounts and Online Payments

  • You are responsible for keeping your account login and password confidential and for all activity on your account.
  • Notify us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
  • When you make a payment or enroll in automatic payments (autopay), you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the amounts due under your rental agreement until you cancel autopay or your rental ends.
  • You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. A declined or returned payment may result in additional fees as described in your rental agreement.
  • Online payments are processed by third party providers. We do not store full payment card numbers on the Website.

Rent, Fees, and Past Due Accounts

Rent is due in advance on the date stated in your rental agreement. Late fees, returned payment fees, and other charges are listed in your rental agreement.

If your account becomes past due, we may deny access to the facility, overlock your unit, and take other steps allowed by your rental agreement and Texas law. Under Chapter 59 of the Texas Property Code, we have a lien on property stored at the facility for unpaid rent and charges. If the account remains unpaid, stored property may be sold or otherwise disposed of after the required notices are sent. Vehicles, boats, and trailers may also be towed or handled as permitted by Texas law. Keep your contact information up to date so you receive these notices.

Tenant Protection and Insurance

Anchor Storage is not an insurer and does not insure your stored property. Our employees do not take custody of your property, and you remain responsible for it while it is stored at our facility.

We offer optional tenant protection plans through a third party provider. Coverage, limits, exclusions, deductibles, and the claims process are set by the plan terms, not by Anchor Storage. Some plans apply a higher deductible if a disc or cylinder lock is not used. Claims are handled by the plan provider. You may instead rely on your own insurance policy if it covers property in storage. See our Tenant Protection page for details.

Facility Access and Rules

Access to the facility is available 24 hours a day, subject to your account being current and to the rules in your rental agreement. When using the facility, you agree to:

  • Keep your gate code private and not share it with anyone not listed on your rental agreement
  • Provide and use your own lock on enclosed units
  • Store property only in your assigned unit or space
  • Not live, sleep, or reside in any unit, space, RV, or vehicle on the property
  • Not store hazardous, toxic, flammable, or explosive materials, except fuel in a vehicle's or boat's built in tank
  • Not store illegal items, stolen property, perishable food, or living things
  • Not perform major repairs, oil changes, or maintenance that could cause spills or damage on the property
  • Clean up after yourself and report any spills, damage, or safety concerns to the office
  • Follow posted speed limits and facility signage, and use the dump station only as posted

We may deny access to, or end the rental of, anyone who violates these rules or the rental agreement.

Boats, RVs, Trailers, and Vehicles

  • Vehicles, boats, RVs, and trailers stored at the facility must be currently registered and insured, as required by your rental agreement.
  • Propane tanks should be turned off while stored.
  • Electric hookups are provided for battery maintenance and trickle charging only. We are not responsible for power outages, interruptions, surges, or any damage resulting from them, or for the condition of your batteries or equipment.
  • We are not responsible for the mechanical condition of any stored vehicle or vessel.

Security and Surveillance

Our facility uses gated access, onsite security measures, and digital video surveillance. These measures help deter crime but do not guarantee the safety of you or your property. We do not promise that cameras will be monitored at all times or that any particular area will be recorded.

Communications and Text Messages

By providing your phone number and email address, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email, and text message about your account, rental, billing, gate access, and facility updates, including required legal notices. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link. We will still send messages required to manage your account where permitted by law.

  • Provide false information or impersonate another person
  • Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access
  • Interfere with the Website's security or operation, or introduce viruses or harmful code

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and your rental agreement, are the entire agreement between you and Anchor Storage regarding your use of the Website.
